I’m totally flummoxed. I voted for Trip and Cordova. Now it seems like they have both turned. What’s going on? Ketchum downtown is so dark now with all the new construction with many of the new expensive condos are not selling🤔.

I appreciate all the input you have Perry keep it up.

There is a Special Joint KURA/City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, February 24th at 4:00pm at City Hall with "Request for policy direction regarding financing strategy for a public parking garage within the First and Washington Project and next steps " on the agenda. Here are links to both the meeting agenda and the staff report:

It is incredibly impactful to be in the room during these discussions. Please plan to attend the meeting in person, join online (link to join online is at the top of the agenda) and please submit public comment to both participate@ketchumidaho.org and info@ketchumura.org.

At the Feb. 13th KBAC meeting, the Mayor said that "if there is need for in person public comment, we'll work to accommodate that"...if you would like to be heard in person during the meeting, let's make it happen. Hope to see you Monday!

It is misleading to characterize the Mayor's comments as giving "instructions on cheating the survey by using multiple computers to stack the deck." I too, was at that February 13th meeting. He was responding to a question from the audience as to whether they could fill out the survey multiple times if they owned multiple properties in Ketchum. That's when he explained (and several others in the crowd as well) how to use multiple devices to fill out the survey if you have multiple properties. He also stated in the same breath that considering this, these surveys are never perfect.

Also misleading are your comments about his residency and that “Something doesn’t smell right.” His wife has owned the Hailey house since 2008, well before they were married in 2017. The Mayor purchased his first Ketchum residence in 2012, and then his current residence in 2013. In 2021 his wife bought land in Hailey as her sole and separate property. In order to make it so, Idaho community property laws require her spouse to quitclaim his interest to her so that she is vested ‘sole and separate’ from her spouse. He didn't buy it "then transferred it into his wife’s name."

You got the trees and missed the forest. His family lives in Hailey. He may own property in Ketchum but where does he sleep at night? It’s very easy for people who don’t live in Ketchum to exploit Ketchum.

Interesting point on the quitclaim. Are you saying that his name was never on the deed to that lot? When was the property purchased and when was the quitclaim filed?

He literally told people in the meeting how to vote multiple times in a city survey.

You don’t live in Ketchum yet you make your money off of real estate in Ketchum. You seem to to get all of the Mayor’s business housing project business, so maybe you should disclose your conflicts of interest.

I notice you didn’t touch the topic of him running again.

Classic…….who needs fact checking these days. Perry, simply love the replies. Keep hitting them hard. If you tell the audience fifteen times like they do, maybe the public will start believing you finally. It’s part of the Cult.

“It’s a Cult” T-shirt with the city’s logo will be a big seller this summer. Thanks for generating interest and all the good hard reporting. Someone’s got to report the “real” DOGE facts locally.

Remember “It’s a Cult” $$$$ (Best Seller)

“Are you saying that his name was never on the deed to that lot?” – Yes.

“When was the property purchased and when was the quitclaim filed” – June of 2021 property was purchased by his wife as her sole and separate property. Quitclaim deed was signed and notarized by Bradshaw in June of 2021, filed November of 2021. This is all public record if you’d like to research this yourself.

“You don’t live in Ketchum yet you make your money off of real estate in Ketchum” – I live in Hailey and have worked and commuted to my Ketchum office for over 32 years. My firm handles real estate closings for all of unincorporated Blaine County, Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, Bellevue, Carey and Picabo.

“You seem to get all of the Mayor’s…housing project business, so maybe you should disclose your conflicts of interest.” – My firm closed the Bluebird transaction housing project in November of 2022. That and Northwood Place are the only affordable housing projects that we have closed in Ketchum. That business was directed to me due to my 30+ year friendship with the developer of both projects. Another affordable housing project (sort of) was this week’s purchase by the city of 291 N. 2nd Ave. which was closed by a competitor. Again, this is all public record if you’d like to do the research.

“I notice you didn’t touch the topic of him running again.” – I don’t participate in gossip and speculation.

So someone with multiple computers and/or properties has a greater voice than someone with only one? And the government knows and supports this?

It was a discussion about the LID and how it financially affects those with multiple properties more than those with only one property. Most people these days at least have a laptop and a phone...so yes, this leads to surveys never being perfect.

You literally repeat his talking points. There are statistically valid methods of surveying. During his administration the City has done that only once.

The issue isn’t that surveys are imperfect. The issue is that the City regularly uses statistically invalid menthods and stacks surveys with manipulative questions. This isn’t just my opinion. Other people have made that point in public meetings.

The people who actually live in Ketchum are on to his game. 65% of the electorate voted against him. Even the newspaper, once a reliable knee bender, has figured out what he is doing and is starting to do its job.

Easy fix. Single vote per property location and legal name. Just like all voting rules.
