Would it be useful to have a large sign made that states "Against This Project" and then have all of us who are opposed gather near the sign?

It is my understanding that all of the "affordable" units on the 2nd floor are dedicated to the Limelight Hotel... is this true, and if so, by what mechanism. What about all the people on the LIST who have been waiting for YEARS?!

And WHY is PARKING never adequately addressed with all these new projects?

I don't think that is correct. The building on 1st and 4th has its affordable units reserved for the new hotel being built in town (where the massive crane is).

As for the housing list, it is a fascination to me that projects like Bluebird advertise--shouldn't they be filled with the wait list? The City bought a condo and then hired a real estate agent to market it as a deed restricted unit--why would they buy something for which there was no demand?

As for parking, City Hall pushes a false narrative that we have to choose between housing and parking. That is total crap. We have plenty of other places we can put housing--far better places, as I have frequently written about.

I oppose Washington and second Street development. I have been a homeowner in Ketchum for 30 years and believe that the Valley has some responsibility and Ketchum is not the mother load for the valley for this type of building and accommodation Stefanie Zable

I strongly oppose development of the Washington St. lot until the new P&Z Codes and Comprehensive Plan has been passed by Planning and Zone and Ketchum City Council. This badly conceived plan will create havoc in the middle of town. Of course we need more affordable housing, but this is not the place for it.

Here is the really weird part.

There are actually no codes for P&Z. We have never had a list of preferred building materials or set backs from the roads or any kind of style code.

Many people live in neighborhoods with strict building codes, styles and materials yet our town does not.

Go figure.

Yes, we need to change this.
